I’m a girl from South Africa who lives to cook, eat and repeat.
My mother is a qualified chef, which I suppose was the spark which ignited my passion for food. My other spatula-in-hand heroes include the likes of Jamie Oliver, Heston Blumenthal and Adam Liaw (among many others) and I will often refer to them.
I’ve always wanted to start a blog which documents my culinary chronicles, but I’ve always seemed too busy at the stove! Now that I have finished studying I have a lot more free time, which is great for experimenting, writing and of course eating.
My dishes are inspired by my favourite restaurants, takeaways, or whatever is in the fridge. I love all food, so it’d be hard for me to choose a favourite, but my passion lies in all things Asian. My greatest fear is running out of garlic and as you will see, I use a lot of it.
