This is the quickest, most delicious vegetarian meal or side dish. My favourite thing about this dish is the crunchy flavoursome veggies (even my fussy brothers love them).
INGREDIENTS
2 packets of pak choi
1 large packet of long stem broccoli
2 garlic cloves, crushed
3cm thumb of ginger, grated
4 spring onions, roughly chopped
2 red chillies, deseeded and chopped
60 ml boiling water
4 tbsp Kikkoman soya sauce
2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
1 tbsp olive oil
3 drops sesame oil
METHOD
Serves 5
Preparation: 3 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Place a large wok on high-heat, pour the olive oil down the sides and add the sesame oil. Once the oil has heated up, add the garlic, ginger, chilies and spring onions – fry for 1 minute or until soft.
Then add the greens and the water, toss around so the chopped ingredients evenly coat the veggies. Steam for 3-5 minutes until they become slightly softer, I love my greens crunchy so cook them to your preference. Once they have cooked, add the soy sauce and sesame seeds, serve immediately.
Dig that dish.. cool
