I love frozen yogurt! I always find I feel a bit less guilty eating frozen yogurt then I do eating ice cream. This recipe takes under 5 minutes to prepare, but if you don’t have enough time to make your own, Food Lover’s Market and Woolworths have divine ones.
This is the perfect dessert if you’re planning on having a large main course. This recipe serves 4 but you can easily douple or triple it and freeze it for a healthy midnight snack 😉
INGREDIENTS
For the Frozen Yogurt:
4 cups frozen strawberries
3 tbsp honey
½ cup plain yogurt (non-fat or full fat)
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
For the toppings:
1 punnet fresh raspberries
1 punnet fresh blueberries
1 bunch fresh basil
1 bar Lindt singles extra dark chocolate, roughly chopped
METHOD
Serves 4
Prepartion 10 minutes
Add the frozen strawberries, honey, yogurt and lemon juice to the bowl of your food processor with the blade attachment. Process until creamy, about 5 minutes.
Serve the frozen yogurt immediately or transfer it to an airtight container and store it in the freezer for up to 1 month.
Once the frozen yogurt is made, spoon into separate bowls, top with berries, chopped chocolate and basil and enjoy ❤
